With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel R. Price Jr. of Windsor, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Price, Sr. and Catherine Davies Price; and his sister Joyce Price. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Warren; his children, Jacqueline Dickerson of Johnson City, NY and Aaron Price of Windsor, NY; his grandchildren, Kelly Dickerson (Jim Tse), Robert Dickerson of Binghamton, NY and Tasha Dickerson-Williamson of Edwardsville, PA; his great grandchildren, Justin Golden of Greene, NY and Eleanor Tse of Forest Hills, NY.; his siblings, Ann Marie Pettinato of Crystal Lake, PA and Martin Price (Florence); his sister-in-law Maureen Warren of Harford, PA; and his nieces and nephews, Laura Pettinato (Dale Disney) of Vernon, NJ, Gwendolyn McGowen (William), Dennis Warren of Harford, PA and Nelson Warren (Donna) of Harford, PA. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Windsor United Methodist Church (58 Chapel St, Windsor, NY 13865). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The doctors and nurses at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA, who saved his life from Anaplasmosis in 2018 were recognized again in his passing with a generous donation to the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Dan would want any donations to go to his church, Christian Church of Fellowship, Kirkwood, NY or to first responders who were there in his final hour: Windsor Fire Company, West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company, Five Mile Point Fire Company, Deposit Volunteer Fire Department, Harpursville Fire Department, Susquehanna PA Fire Department, Eastern Broome Emergency Services, Broome Volunteer Emergency Squad, Inc.
