He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Welfel and Alice Welfel (Wilcox); and his wife Sarah Jane Welfel (Brewer). He is survived by: his children, William T. Hawthorne (Laurie), Jeannie Fredenburg (Albert), Cindy Raymond (Robert), Debra Wanzo (Larry) and Sherri Coney (Jim); and his sisters, Estella Rogers, Helen Russell, Joyce Welfel and Sue Deuell. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews.
