He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Truesdell (Wayman) and George Truesdell Sr.; his grandmother Sylvia Nichols; his stepfather Willie Lutz; his brothers, Walter and George Truesdell Jr.; and his pets, Buck and Lady.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie Truesdell; his children, Stephanie Truesdell (Josh Shaul), Dustin Truesdell and Zachary Truesdell; his siblings, Sylvia Grant, Larry Truesdell and Ricky Lutz; his grandchildren, Sylver, Clint Truesdell, Katherine Shaul, Adelynn, Reilly Maynard, Aarya and Aran Rudra; his pet Gypsy; and also Alison Jacobs (Rudraskandan Ratnadurai).
