With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Hunt (Windham, New York), born in New York, New York, who passed away on June 19, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Ward Hunt; her parents, Jacob Markow and Helen Markow (Stupak); her brother Nicholas Markow; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Hunt.

She is survived by: her daughters, Helene Grant (Stewart), Patricia Norris (Casey), Marcella Smith (David) and Kimberly Winslow (Charles); her grandchildren, Richard Dieffenbach (Heather), Christopher Grant (Amy), Andrew Dieffenbach (Michelle), Steven Grant, Sheila Smith, Alicia Chelette (Murry) and Kelly Jutsum (Alfred); her great grandchildren, Flynn Diffenbach, Jenson Grant, Meredith Grant, Cameron Grant, Garrett Dieffenbach and Zoe Grant; her brother Bohdan Markow (Wanda); and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Markow (Nicholas), Walter Hunt (June) and Lois Hunt (Kenneth). She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
