He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Martin and Louise Martin; and his brother-in-law Donald Meade. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Kavanagh Martin; his daughters, Kerry Thorington and Erica Perry (Karl); and his siblings, Sandra Meade, Sharon Clark (Frank), Diane Martin-Widenor (Timothy) and David Martin (Jane). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
