He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Daisy Soule and Merlin Van Etten (Barney); his wife Linda Kriss Van Etten; and his siblings, Marilyn McCracken (Bob), JoEllen Schermerhorn, Leslie Van Etten and Stephen Van Etten. He was also cherished by aunts, nieces, and nephews, as well as great-nieces.
