Paul Smetana Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul Smetana in Wilson, New York, who passed away on July 2, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Belo Smetana; and his siblings, Peter Smetana, Anne Perkoski and Mary Maerkl. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Apalenek (Tom) of Kansas City, KS, Paul B. Smetana of Apalachin and Craig Smetana (Liz) of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Daniel, Shawn Apalenek, Megan and Michelle Smetana; and his sister Julia Sedlack (Michael) of Johnson City. He is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Paul's memory to either St. Michael's Cemetery or Community Outreach Dinner Funds, 296 Clinton St. Binghamton, NY 13905.
