He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Hitchcock and Minnie Hitchcock (Light); his wife Pearl Park; his daughters, Judith Fisher and Penny Lee Hitchcock; his son-in-law Jeremy Stopford; his grandchildren, Tonya Stopford and Thomas Fisher; and his sisters, Louise and Rosalyn.

He is survived by: his children, Thuvia H. Stopford and Edwin G. Hitchcock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
