He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Vandervort and Esther Vandervort (Beynon); his stepmother Rachel Vandervort; his siblings, Joyce, Ed (Mary), Kenny, Norman (Gloria), Roy (Sharon) and Karen (Al); and his siblings-in-law, Arden Carrington and Gloria Andres (Chuck).
He is survived by: his wife Laura M. Vandervort (Bender); his children, Julie (George Brown) and Carl Jr. (Stacy); his grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Devon, Breana, Madison, Mariah, Bailey and Brantley; his stepgrandchildren, Jacob, Aiyana, Duston and Brandon Brown; his siblings, Tim Vandervort, Jeff Vandervort (Robin), Sue Carrington, Lorie Rogers (Jack) and Megan Horton; and also Chewy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
