She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Gettens. She is survived by: her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Kim; her granddaughters, Ellie and Emily; and her pet Pepper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made to Adirondack Health Oncology Center or Lake Placid Center for the Arts.
