It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Kamerling in Wilmington, New York, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willem Hendrick Johan and Hendrika (Poelstra); his brother Edward Anthony; his stepfather Jacob Haas; and his brothers, Phillip and Peter Haas.
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Robert, Sytske Martin (Jeffrey) and Erik (Elaina Strickland); and his sisters, Jacobine Haas and Alice Charlotte Kamerling. He is also survived by four granddaughters and many friends and family.
In remembrance of him, donations can be made to High Peaks Hospice or the Wilmington, New York Volunteer Fire Department, both of which played an integral and caring role in Robert's well being during his sudden illness.
