He was predeceased by: his wife Elfriede Maria Heidl; his daughter Rosana; and his brother Rudy. He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Harry Heidl, Donna Heidl, Norman Heidl and Yan Ping Heidl; his daughter Janet Jr.; his sons-in-law, David Doane, Jr. and Frank Haus; and his significant other Lucy Norris. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
