It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Belle Ferris of Willsboro, New York, born in Reber, New York, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Strong and Mertie Strong (Wrisley); her former husband Walter Phillips; and her brothers, Richard "Dick" and Ronald Strong.
She is survived by: her husband Roger; her children, Barbara (Robert Baker) of Walkertown, NC, JoAnna Gonyeau (Madeline Busch) of Cramerton, NC and Ian Phillips of Clifton Park, NY; her stepsons, Douglas Ferris (Mary) and Dale (Carrie) of Willsboro, NY; and her stepgrandsons, Vincent Ferris (Carolina) of West Covina, Joseph Ferris of Willsboro, NY and Austin Ferris of New York City, NY..
Donations may be made in her memory to the Reber United Methodist Church, Morrisonville Community Church, Willsboro United Church of Christ, or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
