With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Besaw of Willsboro, New York, who passed away on December 5, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Karen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Karen. Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walt Besaw and Ruth Besaw; her husband Ward Ashline; and her brother-in-law Michael Mckaig. She is survived by: her son Derrick Besaw (Leighann); her granddaughter Mariyah of Bainbridge; and her siblings, Walt (Debbie Besaw), Keith (Cindy Besaw), Sandy Besaw of Middleburgh and Pat Spath (John). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
