He was predeceased by: his parent Leonard Butler; his wife Helen Craft Butler; and his siblings, Betty Carr, Marie Bachtell, James Butler and David Butler.
He is survived by: his parent Agnes Butler; his children, Keith (Roxane), Kevin (Mary) and Karen Garmley (Chris) of Mechanicville; his grandchildren, Christopher Garmley, Deidre June (Nicholas), Cole Garmley, Nathan, Colin and Alicia Butler; his great grandchildren, Nathanial June and Emillia June; and his sisters, Irma Cornell, Thelma Urbaetis and Lynne DeMarco (Pat).
In lieu of flowers, Preston would have appreciated remembrances be made to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Rd, Ballston Spa, 12020.
