It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frances R. LaVista (Williston Park, New York), who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Lallone and Charles Lallone; her spouse Blaise Patrick La Vista; her daughter Mary La Vista; and her sisters, Stella Caldarella, Ann Maimone and Jennie Palmieri.
She is survived by: her daughter Dorothea (Daniel); her grandchildren, Daniel, Michael (Kristen) and Lauren; her great grandchildren, Luke, Emmett and Nolan Roper; and her sister Marie Dowling.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weigand Bros., Inc. Funeral Home (49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, NY 11596). A Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Aidan (505 Willis Ave, Williston Park, NY 11596). A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Rood Cemetery (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
