Though Bernadette may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cuthbert Dutton and Eileen Dutton; her husband Gerard G. Burns; her daughters, Joanne Manopella (Joseph) and Jennifer Greco (Nicholas); and her grandchildren, Michael, Elena, Matthew, Nicholas and Brianna.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Weigand Brothers Funeral Home (49 Hillside Avenue, Williston Park, NY 11596). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Aidan's RC Church (505 Willis Ave, Williston Park, NY 11596). A burial was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Nassau Knolls Cemetery (500 Port Washington Blvd, Port Washington, NY 11050).
