She was predeceased by: her husband Bryant Kurtzman. She is survived by: her sister Marilyn Gilbarg; her daughters, Melissa, Lauren and Dana; and her grandchildren, Anthony Scialabba, Emily Lawrence, Livia, Hannah, Maya and Jonah Slabodkin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or Hospice & Palliative Care of Buffalo.
