He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Starr and Marion Starr; and his siblings, Harriet Coleman, Geraldine Keane, James Starr, Thomas Starr and William Starr.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Starr; his daughters, Katherine L. Starr, Elizabeth S. Hassett (Joseph M.), Mary Louise "Molly" Starr (Michael Adowski) and Jennifer S. Hyde (Scott Sherlock); his grandchildren, Joseph D. Hassett, Nicholas E. Hassett, Katherine S. Hassett and Zoe L. Hyde; and his brother Roger Starr (Cree). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (1671-16 Maple Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (30 Lamarck Dr, Amherst, NY 14226).
