He was predeceased by: his spouse Ellen J. O'Day; and his parent William J. Sr.. He is survived by: his children, William J. III, John M. O'Day (Amie), Katherine A. Jones (Richard) and Ellen C. O'Day (Marta Trogolo); his grandchildren, Jacquelynn O'Day (Gabrielle Stribing), Isabella O'Day and Nicholas O'Day; his parent Florence O'Day (Conroy); his sister-in-law Martha Quinn of Snyder; and his nephew Martin L. Quinn III.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
