He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Martens and Mildred Martens (Sherman); his wife Onnalee Martens (Ellis); his son Donald Martens; and his brother Donald J. Martens.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Martens (Susan) of Marion, Steven Martens of Williamson, Kristy Bowman (Steve Flor) of Sodus Point, Tammy Priest (Todd) of Williamson and Shelly VanHall (Jeff) of Newark; and his sister Darlene Krenzer. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces.
