Helen Franchot Benton Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Franchot Benton (Williamson, New York), who passed away on April 21, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Benton; and her siblings, Walter Grzbienski, Joseph, Stanley, Charlie, John, Theodore Franchot and Eleanor Altman.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy McGowan (William) of Penn Yan, NY and Carol Ankrom (Dennis) of Williamson, NY; her grandchildren, Katie Schmidl (Todd), Peggy McGowan, William McGowan, Jackie Lincoln (Jarred), Lloyd Ankrom (Cristina) and Daniel Ankrom (Alaina); and her sisters-in-law, Grace Franchot, Helen Franchot, Ishmael Nwaobia and Melanie Nwaobia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pines of Peace Comfort Care Home.
