The passing of Donald E. Cartwright of Williamson, New York leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Cartwright; his daughter Lori Cartwright; his parents, Wilfred Cartwright, and Juanita Cartwright, Sr.; his siblings, Ima Rose (Martha Szachta) and Johnny Rose; and his niece Christina Diaz.
He is survived by: his son BJ Burgos (Brandi); his grandchildren, Tyler Cartwright (Courtney), Troy Quigley (Rachael) and Jasmin Allen; his great grandchildren, Iziah, Christian, Aaliyah, Jayce, Kristen, Aislynn, Finn, Treyshawn, Lilliana, Amiyah and Sebastian; his brothers, Wilfred, Jr. (Bertha) and Gary Cartwright (Diane); and his sister-in-law Stephanie Johnston. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home (4025 Main St, Williamson, NY 14589). The military honors will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
