He was predeceased by: his parents, David Copeland and Patricia Copeland. He is survived by: his spouse Laurie; his children, Corey (Lucia) and Chris (Jen); his grandchildren, Cole and Trinity; and his sisters, Brenda, Barb, Christina, Katie and Molly.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wayne County Humane Society.
