He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Hicks and Clara Belle Hicks; and his siblings, William Hicks and Virginia LaBour. He is survived by: his daughters, Dionne Carey (Steve), Kelly Zona (Rick) and Grace Jensen (Dan Rapini); his grandchildren, Dionne Bortz (Travis), Kyle Carey (Lora), Gregory Carey (Sarah) and Laurena Jensen; his great grandchildren, Landyn Carey, Wyatt Armando Freelove and Emerson Leigh Bortz; and his sister Alice "Corky" Howard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
