We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2024, Winifred L. Ticknor of Whitney Point, New York, born in Conklin, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar Ticknor; and her siblings, Richard Barrows and Eunice Sanford. She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Beth Ticknor; her son Martin; her daughter-in-law Jeanne Ticknor; her daughter Amanda; her son-in-law John Connolly; and her grandchildren, Derrick Ticknor (MaryKate), Travis Ticknor (Alayna), Jocelyn Ticknor (Leonardo), Taya Castimore (Ernie), Biancia Musshafen (Mat), Brittany Connolly, Kelsey Ticknor (Jarrett) and Baleigh Stewart (Kris). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the UHS Foundation in support of the UHS Palliative Care Unit. Checks can be made out to the UHS Foundation and mailed to 10-42 Mitchell Ave, Binghamton, NY 13903.
