It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lowell Smith Jr. (Whitney Point, New York), born in Glen Aubrey, New York, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Sr. Smith and Gladys Hodges Smith; his parents-in-law, Glenn and Nellie Wilcox; his brothers-in-law, Paul Wilcox, Luis Wilcox and Lynn Wilcox; his children-in-law, Dana Schanbacher and Barbara Smith; and his grandson Joshua Schanbacher.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnne; his children, Jeff (Lori), Gregg, Denise (Doug Hazlett), Cris and Julie Schanbacher; and his grandchildren, Holly Smith (Tim), Shawn Baxter (Amy), Lucas Baxter (Sarah), Loren Smith (Amber), Greg Smith (Jennifer), Austin Smith Elliott Hazlett (Kaeti), Morgan Hazlett (Layla), Liza Hazlett (Cameron), Steffi, Christa and Kathryn Schanbacher. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, along with cousins, nieces and nephews.
