She was predeceased by: her son Paul Frederick Gerard, Jr.; and her parents, Dorothy Seeger Decker and David J. Decker. She is survived by: her children, Anne Gerard Staton (Steven) and Stephen Gerard (Susan); her grandchildren, Alanna, Leon Staton, Mitchell Gerard, Adam and Benjamin Gerard; her brother David H. Decker (Marjorie); and her cousins, Nancy, Dick Warner, Carol, Ray Lewis, Jerry, Maria Eickwort and June Walther.
