He is survived by: his mother Sharon Van Etten (Thomas) of Whitesville; his daughters, Emilia Johnson (Joseph) of Warrenville, IL, Carol Zuniga of Flour Bluff and Mia Connolly of Flour Bluff; his granddaughter Valentina Moreno; his sisters, Yvonne Simmons (Arthur) of Whitesville, Amy Thomas (Jonathan) of Bolivar and Cindy Van Etten of Delmar; his nieces and nephews, Marilynn Crummenauer (Joshua), Marcus Schoen (Shelly), Kori Thomas and Jayna Thomas; his pets, Wrinkles and Ramsey; and his caregivers, Todd and Vickie Hilfiger.
