She is survived by: her husband Leon Clifford Simons; her children, Leon Simons Jr (Rose), Eugene Shawn Simons, Ruthie Rodriguez, William Eric Simons and Christine Aldrich; and her close friend Patty Scalise Criss. She is also survived by five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
