It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vicky L. Slaga (Whitesboro, New York), born in Rome, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Johnson and Jane C. Thomas Johnson Messenger; her grandparents, Kenneth R. and Sarah K. Thomas; and her stepfather Steven E. Messenger.
She is survived by: her children, Jaime Winfield (Chris) of Canastota, Julie Slaga of Clinton and Joshua Slaga (Devin) of Rome; her grandchildren, Jordan and Coleton Winfield of Canastota; her siblings, Rebecca Stevens (Mark) of Branchville, SC and Kenneth Johnson; her nephew Jake Johnson of Marcy; and her niece Katlyn Johnson. She is also survived by several cousins and many friends.
