He was predeceased by: his son Daniel Durney; and his close friend Rachel Walrath. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Kathleen Durney of Whitesboro; his niece Judy Scatko (David) of Frankfort; and his nephew John Hartman (Laurie) of New York Mills.
