He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Achen and Dora Achen (Alexander); and his wife Catherine E. Reid of Paul's Catholic Church. He is survived by: his son John; his grandchild Harley Davidson; his children, Colleen Achen-Truesdale of Whitesboro, Donna Achen-Olney of Whitesboro, Theodore J. Achen, Jr. and Thomas Achen (Kelly) of Lee Center, NY; his sisters, Mary Achen of Clinton, NY, Sally Mosher of New Hartford, NY and Terry Ball (Tom) of Marcy, NY; his grandchildren, Corey Achen, Tomasine Achen, Justin Achen and Marlee Gleason; his godchildren, Catherine "Katie" Truesdale, John Coriale, Christina Devila, Kasey Coriale, Ivori Achen, David Olney, Shannon Olney, Theodore Olney and Nicole Olney; his daughter Sharon Coriale; and his siblings, Roberta, Fred, Charles and Dottie.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (16 Park Ave, Whitesboro, NY 13492). A burial was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:50 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (70 Wood Rd, Whitesboro, NY 13492).
