He is survived by: his parents, Jeff Eyre and Patricia Eyre (Tony Weaver); his siblings, Mason, Jason Eyre and Jamie Araki; his grandchildren, Patricia Gossin, Mentor and Robert O'Neal; his friends, James, Noah, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Nicole and Rob; and his pet Ziva. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dimbleby Funeral Homes - Whitesboro (40 Main St, Whitesboro, NY 13492). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

Remembrances in Shane's name may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or a Veteran's charity of your choice.
