It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Ventura of Whitesboro, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ercole Ventura and Mary Statti Ventura; his wife Gwendolyn Lerch Ventura; his son Sam Jr.; his daughter-in-law Tracey Ventura of Norwich; his daughter Sandra; his son-in-law Mitch Ellis; his daughter Gwendolyn DiFerdinando; his grandchildren, Barbara Lynn of Sam, III, Mitchell, Michael, Mark Samuel and Marissa; his brother-in-law John Scialdone; his brother Louis; his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Ventura and Lucille Ventura; his friends, Joe, Rae Nesci, Lou and Judy Scire; and his siblings, Rufus, Giovanni and Jean Marie Elliot. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
