Hughes Sr. (Whitesboro, New York), born in Utica, New York, who passed away on December 13, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Hughes and Bertha Hughes (Clermont); his daughters-in-law, Jane Hughes and Christine Hughes; and his siblings, Walter, Emma, Edward and Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith; his children, Terri Golden (Rick) of Yorkville, Russell Hughes Jr. (Dawn) of Oriskany and Michael Hughes; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Brandon, Jessica (Punkin), Danny, Meaghan, Shayne and Jayme; and his siblings, Susan Hughes and David Hughes. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
