She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alton Williams and Clara Williams (Carey); her husband James of Marcy; her children, Kevin Scranton, Ellen Scranton, Deerfield, Bryan, Keith, Dianna Scranton, Michelle Kelly, David Kelly, Missy Sarner, Eric Sarner and Whitesboro; her grandchildren, Noah, Emma, Scott, Callie, Maya, Taylor, Madison, Blake, Cole, Brayden and Ireland; her siblings, Carl Williams, Anne Palmer and Martin Williams; her siblings-in-law, Gordon Scranton, Janice and Carole Williams; her granddaughter Kylie; her brothers, William Williams and Eugene Williams; and her sister-in-law Regina Williams. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins along with close friends.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Rita's name may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation.
