He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret. He is survived by: his parents, Harold L. and Ella Mae McSherry (Field); his grandchildren, Brian, Kayla, Sandi Lysogorski, Victoria Yashinski and Derek Yashinski; his sister Janice Williams of Fort Mill, SC; his brother-in-law Joseph T.; and also Laura Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Richard's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses and staff of Alpine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, especially the North unit, for the excellent care and many kindnesses shown to both Richard and his family.
