He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thaddeus and Stella Piekielniak (Miga); his wife Mary Ellen (Cynthia); his sister Agnes Smith; his parents-in-law, Edward, Mary Hart, Phyllis and Lee Scott; and his nephew Philip Molesky.
He is survived by: his friend Cynthia Freels; his children, Michael Jr. (Wendy) of Remsen and Lisa Buck; his grandsons, Patrick Buck, Jr. and Andrew Buck; his great grandchild Brynlee Mae Buck of Whitesboro; his niece Meghan Sweeney of Charlotte, NC; his godsons, David Smith and Jason Molesky; his brother-in-law Bernie Smith; his aunt Jane White; and his parents-in-law, Kathleen, Gregory Molesky, Carol and Jeffrey Haggas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many endearing friends.
