Tarkowski Sr. of Whitesboro, New York, born in Clinton, New York, who passed away on June 27, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Tarkowski and Julia Tarkowski (Zaleski); his siblings, Mary Jasinski (John), Bernard Tarkowski (Sophie), Bernice Kuklinski (Eugene), Felix Tarkowski (Nora), Clara Szymanski (Alex), Irene Czerniawski (John), Eleanor Babrowicz King (Floyd), Geraldine Buchowski (Paul) and Helen; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Gladys Pickett (Dumka).
He is survived by: his wife Mae Pickett; his sons, Joseph Tarkowski and Paul Tarkowski (Jolene); his grandchildren, Christopher Tarkowski (Maggie), Brittany Starczewski (Andrew) and Patrick Tarkowski (Marianna); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Wyatt, Auston, Stella and Harper Mae; and his sister Dorothy Synakowski. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Joe's name may be made to Holy Trinity Memorial Fund or to the Whitestown Optimist Club.
