He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Barretta and Maria Antonia Contino Barretta; his former wife Eleanor Scottolero; his wife Elsie Hodges; and his children, Mary Antoinette Barretta August and Raymond Barretta.
He is survived by: his sons, Frank Barretta, Jr. of Utica and Dennis Barretta of Whitesboro; and his friend Vincent Mazzei. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
