It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M. Rueger (Whitesboro, New York), born in Rome, New York, who passed away on September 20, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent George Sixour; her grandson John Paul Nagy; her son-in-law Vincent Smith; and her brother George Sixour. She is survived by: her parent Laura Sixour (Barnes); and her children, Diane Smith of Rome, Sandy Nagy (John) of Oriskany Falls, Karen Mezza (Paul) of Nashville, John Rueger (JoAnn) of Yorkville and Lori O'Connor (Patrick) of Boonville. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
