He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kenderdine and Eleanor Kenderdine (Tucker); and his granddaughter Emily Buckley. He is survived by: his wife Sally (Case); his children, Sarah Kenderdine (John Roalef), Chittenango, Kathryn Buckley (Gina Orsaio), Utica and Gregory Kenderdine (Daniel Jasnow) of Washington, DC; his grandchildren, Korrine McGough (Michael), Forystt Marshall, Veronica Buckley, Lynnsey Buckley, Thomas Buckley and Lucy Jasnow; and his brother Jack Kenderdine (Karen).
