It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene H. Christie of Whitesboro, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on March 21, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Grimes and Leona Mae Grimes (Nichols); her daughter Cotonia Zea; and her siblings, Paul, Donald, James, Edward and Aldia.
She is survived by: her son David Christie; her husband Gregory Christie; her close friend Bill Hancock; her siblings, Terry Grimes, Keith Grimes, Dorothea Elmandorf, Winifred Ward, Yvonne Stern and Heather Collins; and her grandchildren, Laqueshia, Charlene, David, Jr., D'Ziah and Gregory. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
