It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty A. Wagar (Whitesboro, New York), born in Turin, New York, who passed away on February 8, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Yost and Helen Rhone (Messenger); her stepfather George Rhone; her brother Donald; her sister-in-law Frances Yost; and her brother Joseph Rhone.
She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, William Rushford (Edith) of Irvington, NY and Terri Pecorello (Eddie) of Utica; her siblings, Beverly Britt (Robert) of Camden, Pat Wilson (Ken) of Chateaugay, NY, Ken Rhone (Mary) of Boonville and William Rhone; her sister-in-law Alice Rhone of Anacortes, WA; and her grandchildren, Samantha, Patrick and Natalie Rushford. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and very close friends.
