He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Blackmer and Chloe Blackmer; his wife Tressa Smith; and his siblings, Ruth, Helen, George, Glendean, Kay, Earl and Jack.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shirley Baker (Tom) of Middle Granville, NY and Rhonda Petty (Dave) of Granville, NY.; his grandchildren, Ashley Nichols (Nick) of Middle Grove, NY, Neil Baker (Maria), Amy Baker, Lonnie Petty and Heather Petty (Makaylee); his great grandchild Noah Petty of Granville, NY; and his sister Mary Proulx of Rutland, VT..
