It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marita Agnes DeGraff (Whitehall, New York), born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on September 4, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Walsh and Rita Mary Walsh (McDonald); her husband John DeGraff; her brothers, Patrick, Michael, Thomas and Robert; and her granddaughter Brittney Marie Perry.
She is survived by: her children, John DeGraff (Beverly) of Dresden, Alamo, Kathy Greenough (Patrick) of Dresden, Patricia Perry (Richard) of Granville, Thomas DeGraff (Cathy Jo) of Whitehall and Christine Stark (Herbert) of Whitehall. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Marita's memory to Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 9 Wheeler Ave, Whitehall, N.Y. 12887 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
