He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo R and Rose LaChapelle (Gendron); his wife Ruth C. LaChapelle (Rooker); his daughter Sheila Martel; his sister Roseelma Czesky; his sons, Perley "Butch" LaChapelle (Shirley) of Whitehall, Donald LaChapelle (Janet) of Westminster, S. C., Michael LaChapelle (Cindy) of Whitehall, Terry LaChapelle (Debbie) of Queensbury and Richard LaChapelle (Stephanie) of Whitehall; and his grandchildren, Dan, Holly, Jill, Amy, Tammy, Stacy, Michael, Darrell, Eric, Jimmy, Bobby, Karrie, Kristie, Colby and Logan. He was also cherished by 25 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
