He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman C. Keys and Susan Horton. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his sons, Richard (Rachel) and Michael (Michele) of Queensbury; his grandchildren, Courtney Switzer (Aidan) of Jacksonville, FL, Taylor, Mackenna, Colin, Vinny and Brooke of Queensbury; his sister Darlene of Palmetto, FL; his siblings-in-law, Jane Goff (Jim), Kaye Aunchman (Michael), Harriet Wyman (Tracy), Paul Bartholomew (Jenn) and Robert Bartholomew (Zalina); and his cousin Roy Baker.
