He was predeceased by: his parents, Fenton W. Kana, Jr. and Clara Adeline Neddo; his wife Doreen Cooke Kana; his son Thomas E. Kana of Colorado Springs, CO.; and his brothers, George Robert Kana (Rube) of Whitehall and Raymond William Kana of Beverly Hills, Florida..
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Stephen Michael Kana (Jean) of Spartanburg, SC, Dr. Daniel Francis Kana (Karen) of Bedford, NH and Kathleen Claire Lombardo (Michael) of Newtown Square, PA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the Lake George Association-an organization that is focused on environmentally protecting the lake that has been very special to Charlie and his family.
